About the Game Welcome to my first portfolio project, developed entirely in Godot Engine 4! This is a technical demo of a classic Space Shooter, based on the AstroWarrior from MasterSystem.
Gameplay Loop Your mission is simple: score points to upgrade your ship before facing the boss of the stage.
🕹️ Controls
- WASD / Arrow Keys/Joystick/D-Pad: Move.
- Space / Z / A Button / B Button(Nintendo): Shoot.
Technical Highlights This project was built to demonstrate proficiency in 2D Game Development concepts:
- Authentic Pixel Art: Rendered natively at 342x192 and scaled via Viewport for a crisp retro look.
- Juice & Polish: Code-driven animations (Tweens) for intro, victory, and invincibility frames.
